  Gazillion in the New Year
Ola Compadres,

It's been far too long on the update front, so let's remedy that shall we?

First off, we have been working very dilligantly on the new album for the past month or so and are starting to see the fruits of our labor. We have mixed a few tracks and have them nearly album ready. All that we have left to do on the new album is 3 guitar tracks, a few vocals, extra instument tracks and mixing and mastering. It won't be long now.

We are working on developing some new merch for all you fine people, including tee shirts, stickers, and buttons. We hope to have those all ready within the month of February. So if you are looking for a way to satiate your Gazillion merch cravings, help is on the way. Keep your eyes open kids.

And lastly we have a couple shows comming up. They are:

Jan 26th- O'Gara's Garage
(164 Snelling Ave. North, St. Paul , MN)
9:00pm, $4 at the door, 21+
w/ Mighty Fairly and The Halloways

Jan 29th- The Dinkytowner
(412 14 Ave SE in Minneapolis, MN)
6:00pm, $5 at the door, ALL AGES
w/ TBA

We hope too see everyone and anyone at these shows, they should be a lot of fun, and it's just not a show without a kick-tushy crowd. We hope all is going well with everyone in their new year endeavors, and we'll see you at the show. Bye everyone.

I'd love to share the title with you all, but for now it will have to be kept secret. Don't worry, we'll share it with you in time. John only has a few more guitar tracks to lay down, and Simon is starting in on his vocals. After those are closer to complete, we will start recording the extra little goodies that will make the new album sound just right. We can't wait until we're closer to finished so that we may share some of what we've been working on with you. That's all for now. Be sure to sign the guest book, it's always nice to hear from you guys. Peace out.

  First Band Post!
Hello everyone! Well, with a little help from our wonderful webmaster Allison, we are finnaly able to post on the front page blog! So here's your Gazillion news update.

Things are going really well with the recording of our new album. We're very excited about all of the ideas that we have and the way everything is sounding. We hope that all of you will enjoy it as much as us. Hopefully, when we get closer to the release date, we'll post some songs up on myspace and purevolume.

We are currently booking lots of shows in and around the twin cities. We are working on booking for ourselves right now, but by the end of the month we will have some extra help on our side when it comes to bookings, so we'll probably start touring outside the cities soon. Stay tuned for latest developments.

And finally, we'd like to announce the start of our all new, very first street team. If you really enjoy our music, and are looking for ways to help us out send us an e-mail with your name, email adress, location and any other information you would like us to know about you to gazillionmusic@hotmail.com. This is a good way for people who don't live very close to the twin cities and like gazillion to get us to come and play a show near you. So let us know, because we're dying to hear from you.

That's about all for now. Stay tuned for the latest in gazillion updates and everything gazillion. See you round kids.

HELLO, FRIENDS -

allison here. i'm busy revamping the site today, so if things look pretty wonky throughout the course of the day, that would be the reason.

in other technical news, soon, the address http://www.gazillion-music.com/ will point to this very page, and the boys will be updating this blog as well as the email list to help everyone out.

i have made a livejournal community at http://www.livejournal.com/community/gazillionmusic/ that you should join if you are a livejournal user. please post anything gazillion-related there and treat it as a forum of sorts.

add the band on myspace if you haven't already: http://myspace.com/gazillionmusic/

buttons and other goodies will be added again as soon as i make some that aren't horrible to look at.
